ELAN WINGMAN 86 CTI

The Elan Wingman 86 Ti are asymmetric skis, in other words there is a left and right ski, with a difference in their rigidity depending on the sides. Do not ski them the wrong way around, they don’t work ­– we tried! These skis are very reactive, they initiate the turn very quickly. These are unusual skis, they feel kinda soft, gentle that unnerves expert skiers. Which is surprising because they are up and over 700 euros in price and aimed at experienced skiers who know how to balance and carve. You can ski them in a more classic stance, upright, when skidding turns. The tail and tips don’t trap you, they’re great – fun skis. B3
